How do I Change my signature in the Forum?

  1. Click on your name in the top right hand corner of the screen to view your profile.
  2. Scroll down and in the About box, click on edit.
  3. Click on the last tab signature
  4. You can edit your name here.

How do I download GeoWiki to my mobile device?

How do I download The Wanderer?

  1. Click the ‘Member Login’ button in the top right-hand corner of the CMCA website and enter your unique username and password. If you do not know your username and password click here.

  2. Once you are logged in you will be able to access all member restricted areas of the website.

  3. Click on The Wanderer link, which can be found on the right-hand side of the website in a bright orange box.

  4. A new webpage will open with a selection of The Wanderer magazines.

  5. Click on the magazine you would like to download.

  6. Once the magazine has opened you will notice several icons (they are very pale in colour) in the top right-hand side of the website (the magazine opens in a new webpage).

  7. If you hover your mouse over each icon you will be provided with a description of what they do. Click on the third icon from the right – this is the download button.

  8. Once you have clicked on this icon you will then be given the option to download all pages, the left page currently open or the right page currently open. Select your preference and depending on your browser the magazine may download a variety of different ways.

  9. If you use Chrome (recommended) the magazine will open in a new webpage – if you hover your mouse over the magazine a range of icons will appear in the bottom right-hand corner of the page.

  10. The second icon in from the right is the ‘save’ button. Be sure to save the magazine to somewhere on your computer that you can easily find again.

What do I do if I have forgotten my website login?

Every member has their own individual username and password. If you are unsure what your username and password is, please click here to visit the 'Forgot Login' webpage.

A new webpage will open and you will be given the option to have your username or password (or both) sent to your designated email address.

How do I submit a chapter event?

  1. Login to the CMCA website by clicking the orange ‘Member Login’ button at the top right-hand-side of the website. A new page will open requiring you to input your username and password (if you do not know your username or password, a ‘Forgot Login’ link is available below the blue login button).

  2. Once you are logged in, hover your mouse over the ‘Events’ link at the top of the website.

  3. A dropdown list will appear under the ‘Events’ link, scroll down to ‘Submit a Chapter / SIG Event’ and click.

  4. A new page will open requiring you to input the event information, including the chapter name, date of the event (chapter events are listed from the first night to the last night), location the event will take place and any further details you can provide interested members.

  5. The new chapter event will appear online once a member at National Headquarters has reviewed and approved the submission.

How do I change my email / postal / residential address?

Once you have logged into the website, on the members dropdown menu under the login button, select user profile > edit your profile. Click in the appropriate tab, e.g. email address / postal address / residential address, and enter the updated information (removing the incorrect information).

How do I place an advert in Members’ Market?

  1. Click on the Members’ Market link, which is located on the right hand side of the website.

  2. On the Members’ Market page you will see a link towards the top of the page that reads ‘Offer a Vehicle’. Once you click on this link you will then be prompted to login as a CMCA member (if you do not know your username or password, a ‘Forgot Login’ link is available below the blue login button).

  3. The Members’ Market form requires all boxes highlighted in red to be filled, as this is the information that will be published in The Wanderer. The more information you supply, the more interesting your advert will appear to potential buyers. To view the cut-off dates and determine which edition of The Wanderer your advert will appear, click here .

  4. Each image you upload for your Members’ Market advert cannot be larger than 1mb (if you do not know how to resize an image, www.picresize.com is a free online program). A maximum of three images can be uploaded – the first image will be published in The Wanderer. Please wait until you see a message that says each image file has been uploaded before you proceed. 

  5. Once you are finished inputting your information and uploading your images, you will need to click the confirmation button at the bottom of the page, confirming that the advert will require money, and then click ‘Save Entry’.

  6. A pop-up screen will then appear confirming your price - click ‘Save and Continue’ (you must be using a dedicated browser to access the Members’ Market page, otherwise the pop-up screen may not appear).

  7. From here you will then be taken to a payment summary page – click on the WestPac image to pay online through the secure PayWay system.

  8. After you have submitted your card details through the PayWay system, you will be required to input a verification code as part of a security check. After you have inputted this information click on the red button that reads ‘Confirm Payment’.

  9. A confirmation email will be sent out once your payment has been processed. A CMCA staff member from NHQ will review your advert prior to it being published. You will receive a confirmation email when your advert has gone live.

  10. Once you have submitted your advert, it is important to check your contact information: Hover your mouse over the ‘Members’ link at the top of the website – located under the orange member login/logout button. A dropdown list will appear under the ‘Members’ link, scroll down to ‘User Profile’ and then across to ‘Edit Profile’. Ensure your most current contact information is available, as this is what will be published with your advert.

How can I change my Members’ Market advert?

Every Members’ Market advert will stay online for 90 days. You can change your advert as many times as you like (these changes will not appear in The Wanderer if they are made after the cut-off date advertised on the Members’ Market page.

  3. A dropdown list will appear under the ‘Members’ link, scroll down to ‘User Profile’ and click.

  4. A new page will open with several tabs, including ‘Contact Info’, ‘Login Details’, etc. If you click on the tab that reads ‘My Classifieds’ a page will appear with the title of your advert and an edit image next to it, that if you click, will allow you to change any of the adverts information.

  5. Once you have finished making your changes, click the ‘Save Entry’ at the bottom of the page and an email will be sent to you once a staff member at NHQ has approved the changes.

What can I sell in Members’ Market?

Members’ Market allows CMCA members to advertise qualifying vehicles (motorhomes, fifth wheelers, slide-ons and campervans) and passenger cars for sale at reasonable rates.

How do I reset my password?

Once you have logged into the website, on the members dropdown menu under the login button, select user profile > edit your profile. Click the login details tab, then enter and verify your new password.

What is a qualifying vehicle?

A qualifying vehicle is a motorised unit with inbuilt facilities for food storage and preparation, eating and sleeping, and includes vehicles known as fifth wheelers, providing that the fifth wheeler complies with the standards and regulations as set out in the Club's Constitution (Members Only). 

How can I join a chapter?

Give the president or secretary of your chosen chapter a call; they can help you with all your membership queries.

Can I attend a chapter meeting if I’m not a member?

You sure can! But it's always polite to call the chapter contact ahead.

How can I find out if there are any chapters near me?

How many dogs are allowed on a rally site?

There is a dog policy of no more than two dogs per vehicle at a rally.

Can I be sited close to amenities at the rally?

All attempts will be made to site members who have a doctor’s certificate indicating restricted mobility close to amenities. However, all rally sites are different and placement of amenities in respect to vehicles will not be the same for every rally.

Can I park next to my friend at the rally?

If you arrive at the gate with your friend and indicate to the siting team that you wish to be sited together, we will do our best to keep you close by.

Where do I go when I get to a rally site?

Head to the entry gate as indicated by the signs around the area; you will be checked in, given a windscreen card and then sited by the siting team.

What time do the gates open for a rally?

Gates are open between 8:00am and 4:00pm. If you arrive after 4:00pm you will not be admitted onto the site.

Am I able to have a powered site for only a few nights of the rally?

Powered sites are very limited and therefore are only available to those attending for the entire duration of the rally.

How can I get insurance for my vehicle?

The CMCA RV Insurance Program is only available to CMCA members. To apply for insurance, you will need a CMCA membership number. It is advised that you join CMCA and organise your insurance at least 48 hours prior to picking up your vehicle.

Which internet browser should I use to view CMCA website?

We recommend that you use either Chrome or Firefox as your internet browser to view our website or to download files. Some of our pages do not behave well in Microsoft's Internet Explorer or Edge.

How do I access the members' only area of the website?

In the top right hand corner of the website is a member login tab. Once you are logged in you will have access to all hidden content.

In order to login to the members' area you need to have an email address registered with us. If you have not previously done this or you are not sure if you have, you can check in the following ways. Call NHQ on 02 4978 8788 and we will add your email address to your membership details, or submit your email address online by emailing enquiries@cmca.net.au. Please note that online registration of a new email address may take up to three working days to process. 

Once your email address has been registered on your membership record you can click the member login tab in the top right hand corner of the website, click forgot login, and request a reminder for a lost password. A new password will then be emailed to you. Once you have this you will be able to login.

If my membership has lapsed, will it cost me extra to rejoin?

Yes, you will need to pay a $16.50 rejoin fee along with the annual subscription fee. You will receive a full year’s membership from the date of rejoining.

What is the difference between an associate member and a full member?

Associate members are those who are RV enthusiasts, but do not own a qualifying vehicle. Associate members have the same access to all member benefits as full members, but are unable to vote in club elections, nominate persons for election, move motions or hold office.

When is my membership due for renewal?

Your membership renewal date can be found on your CMCA membership card, or when you login to the CMCA website your renewal date will appear in your online profile.

How long does it take for my membership to be processed?

If you apply online, and pay via credit card your membership will be processed automatically and you will receive your membership number via email in just a few moments. If you apply via post, please allow five working days for your application to be processed. 

Can I pay my membership with BPay or direct deposit?

No, CMCA’s payment methods include credit card, cash, cheque or money order.

How much does it cost to join CMCA?

Membership is $60.50 for members living in Australia and $44 every year after.
Membership is $75.50 for members living overseas and $59 every year after.

How can I join CMCA?
