CMCA hosts two major rallies each year, held in different locations throughout Australia. Both rallies have special interest events, information seminars, entertainment, exhibitors displaying motorhomes and products relating to the RV lifestyle, sight-seeing tours, craft barn, dancing lessons. There's so much to do at a CMCA rally!
All members, including Full and Associate, are welcome at CMCA sanctioned events, including national and anniversary rallies, chapter gatherings and combined chapter meetings/rallies, entertainment, and more.

The Club’s 31st Anniversary Rally, will be held at Pontville Park, Brighton Road Pontville Tasmania.
Gates are open from 8:00am to 4:00pm
Powered sites are sold out
Please indicate if you wish to be placed on a waiting list.
Powered sites are only available to those staying the full duration of the rally
Early Bird registration is $85.00 per person (expires 27/02/17)
General registration is $110.00 per person
Powered sites are $19.50 per night - Unpowered sites are $12.00 per night
THE RALLY PROGRAMME IS HERE!
PLACES TO STAY
We will not be having Staging Areas prior to the Rally but a number of PRE-PARTY PRACTICE PLACES.
All sites are within a reasonable distance from the rally with some strategically placed to allow for sightseeing in some of the most beautiful parts of the state, all are in GeoWiki and have Dump Points at the location or nearby.
On the Midlands Highway, Campbell Town has two locations, and one each at Oatlands and Kempton.
South of Hobart there is Geeveston which has two locations, and Franklin has one.
East of Pontville is the Buckland Pub with a large grassy area.
South east and towards Port Arthur is Sorrel, the Dunalley Pub and Nubeena.

HELPFUL TIPS TO GETTING TO THE FERRY IN MELBOURNE
ARE YOU BRINGING A FURRY FRIEND TO TASMANIA?
For those who are taking their furry friends, all dogs entering Tasmania are subject to biosecurity entry conditions and must be treated for Hydatid Tape Worm within 14 days prior to entering Tasmania. Documentary proof of this treatment such as a receipt or vet's subscription is required.
Please be aware that there will be a limited number of showers available onsite. You may need to use your own.
A Heritage Day will be held on Wednesday 15th March 2017 at the rally site.
Plenty of things to do from days gone by - a blacksmith, damper camp ovens, bush band entertainment - plus much more!
ST PATRICK'S DAY
To celebrate St Patrick's Day on Friday 17th March 2017 - dress up in GREEN on the day.
The Rally Party will be held on Friday 17th March 2017 at 7:00pm.
The theme is 'Pontville Party - Pink or Purple'.

OPEN DAY & MARKET STALLS
The Rally Open Day will be held on Sunday 19 March from 9:00am - 3:00pm
The general public can enter the site for a gold coin donation, talk to members about the RV lifestyle and check out the trade area.
Would you like to hold a Market Day Stall? Stalls for members are free of charge and non-members are $25 for the day. You will need to have your own Public Liability Insurance.
The categories for the Photography Competition are keeping with the 'P' theme:
A. People, Profiles
B. Posts, Postboxes
C. Plants, Papillons (Butterflies)
E. Media Section (all photos must be 300dpi and please load onto a USB drive)
Awards in categories A to D will be People's Choice and by a professional photographer. Category E will be only judged by a professional photographer.
