Groups Chapters and Special Interest

Chapters and Special Interest Groups

With over 100 chapters and special interest groups spread across Australia, there's a CMCA community waiting for you no matter where you're based.

Chapters meet regularly for social gatherings, day trips, overnighters and local events, giving members a ready-made group of like-minded travellers to connect with. Many of the friendships formed through CMCA chapters last a lifetime, built on shared adventures and a love of the open road.

As a member, you're welcome to join a chapter in your area and take part in their regular activities. But one of the things members love most is the flexibility. You don't need to belong to a chapter to attend its events. If you're travelling through a new region, you can look up the local chapter and join in.

Rally Annual National

Annual National Rally

Once a year, CMCA members from across Australia come together for eight days of events, activities and good company. The National Rally is the highlight of the CMCA calendar, held in a different location each year so there's always a new region to explore.

The programme is full from start to finish: special interest events, information seminars, live entertainment, trade shows and exhibits, local sightseeing tours, craft sessions, dance lessons and disc bowls competitions. There's something for everyone, and plenty of time to connect with fellow travellers along the way.

Safaris Member

Member Safaris

Explore Australia in great company with a CMCA Safari. Run in partnership with Xpedition Tagalong Tours, our safaris take groups of members on the road together, travelling in convoy from one destination to the next with plenty of stops, stories and shared experiences along the way.

For members who are new to RV travel or still finding their feet with a new vehicle, safaris offer a reassuring way to get out and explore. There's real confidence that comes from travelling with an experienced group, knowing support is close by if you need it.

Trips range from short regional getaways to extended cross-country adventures, so whether you have a long weekend or a few weeks to spare, there's a safari to suit. It's one of the most social ways to see the country, and a brilliant way to discover places you might never have found on your own.
